Microphone Test

The Web Audio API calculates signal energy in real time

After permission, the microphone stream is connected to an AnalyserNode. The tool reads waveform data and computes a visual intensity estimate, useful for confirming input and volume.

Start the microphone and watch the meter

1. Click start microphone and allow access.
2. Speak or tap near the microphone and watch level and peak.
3. Click stop microphone to end local capture.
